GREETINGS!
I'm Randi Phillips-Netherton, and you have reached my portfolio site. Thanks for being here.
I have been in the service industry for my entire adult life. When the Covid-19 pandemic forced me to all but step away from my career of 20+ years, I decided to go back to school and study environmental landscape management, but early along the way I fell in love with GIS and pivoted to taking every GIS class I could fit into my schedule. For me, this field represents an ideal blend of right-brain artistic creativity with left-brain critical thinking. Mapping is fun!

This site began as a GIS portfolio, so you'll see a lot of that type of work here, but you can also expect to find other creative projects featured as well.

When not creating, mapping or working my serving job, you can find me in the kitchen or garden, cuddled up with the cat, at the softball field, playing pinball, paddling a kayak, camping, traveling around sunny locations, and in several of these situations, probably also enjoying a pint of beer alongside my partner in crime...

I hope you enjoy viewing my portfolio as much as I enjoyed creating the materials featured in it!
